As part of ongoing women’s month celebrations, MEC for Agriculture, Ms Nonceba Kontsiwe
will on Thursday, 28 August 2025 officially deliver a tractor and its implements to Queen
Nonzuzo Sigcawu at Nqadu Great Place.
Traditional leaders, as custodians of cultural preservation and community wellness, play a
vital role in the development and well-being of their communities. The handover will serve
as a resource to support communal agricultural initiatives, improve productivity and foster
self-sufficiency within the community.
The MEC is also invited to form part of the Annual Inkciyo cultural celebrations taking part
in the Kingdom on the same day.
