MHAGISA NPO was established in September 2022 and we only received our Certification in August 2023, founded by four office bearers Vuyani Solwandle, Khululekile James and Thembakazi Solwandle and Tania Shweyn. MHAGISA is a shortened name from MOST HATED AGED GROUP IN SOUTH AFRICA. As this age group is highly affected by the 18-35 employment criteria. We’re a broad based organization which aims to cater for all the age groups but especially for the 36-59 year olds, we’re also focusing on GENDER BASED VIOLENCE, COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS, CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAMMES, SHOEING THE KIDS WHO’RE LESS FORTUNATE, TACKLING FARM KILLINGS, DISASTER MANAGEMENT AWARENESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS, ASSISTING THE 36-59 WITH SKILLS. While we are based in Cape Town our plan is to move to Eastern Cape deep in the rural areas, currently we’re looking for any donations, sponsorship, funding or giveaway to fulfill these ideas moving forward.
